故事 · Synopsis
過氣影后肖素華，只接得到「母親」配角。當女兒陳傲的眾籌電影急需一位母親——一部關於母親最終接納同志女兒的彩虹公路片——命運把疏遠多年的母女，重新關進同一個劇組。
從溫哥華到班夫，鏡頭一路向北。戲裡，她演一個學會擁抱女兒的母親；戲外，她從未真正做到。當「拍一部電影」變成「重演一段人生」，戲與真實開始互相吞噬——而那條回家的路，遠比劇本寫的要長。

Once a household name, Xiao Suhua is now offered only mothers. When her daughter Chen Ao — an independent director who has mortgaged everything — needs a mother for her crowd-funded rainbow road movie, an old estrangement is forced back into a single film crew.
The camera travels north, from Vancouver to Banff. On screen she plays a mother learning to embrace her queer daughter; off screen, she never has. As making a film becomes re-living a life, art and reality begin to devour one another — and the road home turns out far longer than the script.
Between an Asian mother and daughter: I love you, but I won't say it. For your own good, I hurt you. I want to be close, so I try to control.

No villains — only people who loved the wrong way.
曾紅遍大江南北，如今只接得到母親配角。為了證明自己還被行業需要，她走進了女兒的劇組——去扮演一個她在現實裡從未學會的母親。強勢、要面子、語言犀利；深處卻只是怕孤獨、怕被女兒忘記。
把身家押進這部電影的獨立導演兼編劇。她想被理解，而不是被評判。防禦是她的盔甲——只談工作、不接電話、冷處理。她試圖用一整部戲，去問母親一個從沒問出口的問題。
粉色長髮，在戲裡飾演女友「Rebecca」，在戲外也是陳傲的戀人。她渴望一個更確定的未來——婚姻、孩子、被穩穩接住；而陳傲的封閉，讓她越來越像一個被隱藏起來的人。
從小看肖素華的電影長大——「有她，我就加入。」她的一句承諾點燃了眾籌，也把母女綁上了同一輛車。片場的陽光，卻也是暗湧開始的地方。
